Labor Day

We crammed a whole lot into Labor Day weekend. We drove to Spokane for an awesome Western wedding and then rushed home to play Settlers of Catan...er, to host Matt and Stacey while they were visiting the coast.

I don't actually have any photos of the wedding itself. But here are a few of my favorites from the party.

We got up at first light to drive back to Portland. We didn't need an alarm clock at all. There were two dozen horses and mules letting us know that it was time for breakfast. It was a gorgeous sunrise.


We raced across two states for this...

...and it was awesome...because the ladies ruled the school!

And we threw in some Voodoo Doughnuts to sweeten the deal and incentivize them to come back and see us again. I hope it worked!
