Two Months (and then some)

Weeks six through nine are a bit of a blur. Eleanor has really lit up and become quite the social butterfly. She is really getting the hang of night time and, although it's not the norm, has slept up to seven hours at one time. Along with her new smiles, sounds, and wiggles has come a complete disinterest in daytime napping and a bit more fussiness. Although she was an excellent napper as a newborn, Eleanor's current affinity for napping is little to none. Her naps last almost exactly 30 minutes and she nearly always cries both when it's time to nap and when it's time to wake up from a nap. I'd say she already knows that she doesn't want to miss a minute of all the living that needs to be done! And all that living is treating us to this each day:

...and this...
 ...and this...
 ...and this...

And when her fussiness gets out of control, spending a little time on her tummy tends to help (no, he's not spanking her ;-). It looks totally goofy, but it works!
